Tenerife is the largest and most populated island of the seven which make up the Canarian Archipelago, northwest of the African continent. Its shape is triangular, it covers over a thousand square kilometers and is 1,100 km away from the Iberian peninsula. The Canary Islands are the result of volcanic eruptions, which has meant that they have grown higher and higher with time. The highest peak is the volcano Teide, 3,718 m which is the highest peak in Spain.

The Maltese islands are situated in the middle of the Mediterranean, with the largest inhabited island, Malta, lying 93km (58 miles) south of Sicily and 290km (180 miles) from North Africa. Gozo and Comino are the only other inhabited islands. The landscape of all 3 is characterised by low hills with terraced fields. Malta has no mountains or rivers and its coastline is indented with harbours, bays, creeks, sandy beaches and rocky coves.

Just two and a half hours flying time from the UK, Tunisia is a small North African Country in the heart of the Mediterranean which is blessed with a stunning coastline, gorgeous sandy beaches, an abundance of historical sites and the magic of the Sahara desert. Whether you choose to simply relax, visit the sites, enjoy watersports, play golf, tennis and bowls Tunisia is a year round holiday destination with something for everyone.
